Grace Adams, B.A.

  • Bachelor of Arts, Psychology & Spanish Minor

Grace recently graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a bachelor of arts in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. Her undergraduate experience included working at San Francisco General Hospital as a sojourn chaplain where she offered emotional and multi faith spiritual care to trauma, mental health, and advanced nursing patients. She also studied abroad in Queretaro, Mexico where she personally engaged with the implications of cross-cultural communication, the history of understanding ethnicity, and conducted ethnographic research on the affect of machismo in fatherhood. In her final semester, she worked as an Outreach Assistant, serving homeless youth in Santa Barbara.

Grace’s aspirations are to become a marriage and family therapist specializing in PTSD and child advocacy. She has a strong passion for people, especially walking alongside those in challenging moments of life. Grace is a relentless believer in being the author of your own story, and the immense value of an empathetic support system. As she is working toward her future endeavors, she is incredibly thankful to be a part of the team at Sunrise Daisy and contribute to building a healing community. She feels honored to be a part of this work.
